The first night we got as far as Eureka, where we stayed at the Mad River RV Park. We had stayed here before. It was OK, but a little pricey. It worked for an enroute spot to our real destination. |

| Before leaving Mad River RV Park, Jerry tried his hand at using the digital camera, with Cathy as the model. | |

The real reason for staying in
Eureka was the Samoa Cookhouse. It is a family style restaurant that was originally built for the loggers in the area. |

| There is no menu really. What they are serving that day is what you get. We went for breakfast on Saturday morning. The menu was french toast, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee. All you can eat. We were definitely fortified for our trip up the coast. | ![]() |
