DAY 2 and DAY 3 - Harris State Beach, Oregon |
| Being in the
tourist mode, we couldn't resist stopping at some of the tourist stops along
the way. There were plenty of redwood souvenir vendors along the
highway. We were tempted by many of the creations: birdhouses, carved bears and waterwells. But, we hung onto our wallets, and just looked. |

We
have always known Oregon State Beaches to be great places to stay in our RV.
They generally have big sites, with full hook-ups. Harris State Beach was no exception. |

| One of the great
things about State Parks is the walking trails. Harris State Beach has a trail
that goes down to the beach. Along the trail there are informational signs explaining what you can expect to find once you get to the beach. We walked down to the beach on Saturday after we got settled. It was very windy! |
