Cabo San Lucas was our last port. The next day we were at sea, then ended our cruise in Los Angeles.

The Island Princess anchored at Cabo San Lucas.

Since there is no place to dock, we had
to take a tender to shore.

The lifeboats do double-duty as tenders.

We sat on the top of the tender on the way over.
The guy on the right is Richard Petty (really!).
We met him and Sherry in Fort Lauderdale.

By coincidence, John and Michael were
on the same tender as we were.

This is where we would take our kayaks.

The transportation from the dock to the kayak
place wasn't exactly first -class. It was tough
getting off this boat and safely onto land.

Here we go to the kayaks! Jerry and I had never
been in a kayak before. These were 2-man kayaks.

After kayaking out to the end of the rocks, we
backtracked and landed here to do some
snorkeling. It was a pretty awful place to snorkel.

I didn't spend much time in the water.
And that's that. Now the most difficult decision we face is: When is the next cruise??

  Back to the beginning....
