Out first planned excursion in a port was the jet boat trip through the Bald Eagle Wildlife Preserve in Haines. We traveled to Haines by catamaran. The dock was within walking distance from our ship
Once in Haines, we had a quick lunch, then suited up for the jet boat.
The ride was a little chilly, and the wildlife was scarce.
Actually, we did see a few Bald Eagles.
Then, it was back to the ship. We walked around town for a little while. Before we knew it, the ship was headed out for Juneau.
