Monday, November 1, 1999
	Monday morning, our first stop was the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Jerry bought tickets to the Outlaws race while we waited for the tour to get started. As luck would have it, we were the only ones there for the first tour of the day. So, it was just the two of us and the tour guide.
	One of the first stops was Humpy Wheeler's private suite overlooking the racetrack.
	The tour guide was in no hurry, and let us take our time looking around. These are definitely primo seats for watching the race.
Next stop was the old drag strip. This strip is not longer being used, as a new one is underway near the dirt track, across from the speedway. The tour also included a few laps around the track in the tour van. There was a racing school in progress, but they paused long enough to let us get a thrill!
